Since 1990 George and Lisa have worked with people with developmental disabilities and their families. Turner Professional Group is the premier expert in the area on navigating the mental health system, family supports and client advocacy.

Experienced, Proven Leaders. George and Lisa are sexuality educators and AASECT certified sex therapists. As part of their work, they provide curriculum development, program evaluation, and policy design, as well as workshops and consultation to school districts, non-profits, boards of directors and parents on positive, comprehensive, and medically accurate sexuality education.

Both have a rich history working with individuals with developmental disabilities in individual counseling, supported employment and supported living programs as well as recreational programs. George and Lisa are completing doctoral work at Widener University (outside Philadelphia) specializing in human sexuality.

Services Provided:

Parent/Caregiver Training:
We provide training and consultation to caregivers. The goal is to help people develop skills & abilities around knowledge, communication, effective programming, rights, advocacy, and behavioral interventions.

Individual Behavior Therapy:
We can provide a short-term intensive clinical intervention to address problematic behaviors. This includes aggression, self-harm, and disruptive or distracting behaviors, to help people increase their quality of life in the least restrictive setting possible.

Psycho-Social Educational Groups:
We provide therapeutic group experiences that focus on a wide range of skill building:

  • Life, Love, Dating, Romance, Marriage & Sex
  • Social Skills Groups for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder
